it’s thurs… uh… wait…

Na in the house!

Since we got snowed out of our regular time slot, Thursday @ 5pm (mtn), we went and did a “make-up” show today (posted here for your convenience.)

We’ll be back in the regular slot on Thursday with guest and friend of the show, the lovely Ms Rachael West.

See ya next week!

p.s. At the end of the show, you’ll hear Q and I talking about what’s next on our agenda for the day… ROBOT WARS! We went down town to Denver University and caught some of the final rounds of bot-battle, hosted by a great organization, FIRST. I gotta say, it was amazing to see these kids using their brains and doin’ their thing. If you get a chance to check it out, DO IT! It’s Q ‘n’ Na Approved!

snowbound…

Dun, dun, duuuunnnn!

Hey everyone. Spring is in the air in Colorado and for those of you not in the know, Spring means snow in Colorado. Loads of snow.

So much snow in fact, they’re closing down Castle Rock Radio tonight and we will not be broadcasting live this evening.

We’re working on a contingency, however. If we have to carve our opinions in the ice, we will share them… just not this evening… It’s too cold.

We’re still here. Stay tuned for updates.

friends, romans, countrymen…

Listen here! Another week, another Thursday and another high-quality episode of EftRoU in the can. I use the industry term “in the can” because our guess tonight was none other than Clark Campbell, Assistant Film Editor Extrordinare, and I’m still feeling high and mighty about having someone from “the biz” on our show.

If you missed it (what the heck were you  doing?!) check it out now on the convenient link provided below. Or you could always head over to iTunes and subscribe to our podcast there (rate and review it, please!).

If you just like us so much you can’t wait till next week, you can listen to this weeks show again… or…

Join us Friday 3/20 @ 5pm (mtn) (See the live show page) at the Front Range showcase in Castle Rock. Come by the Castle Rock Radio booth, meet the illustrious Q ‘n’ Na, hang out with us, voice your opinions, PARTICIPATE*!

See ya soon!

*Rob from North Carolina sent an email to heyyouguys@eftrou.com asking a few questions and for his efforts, we hooked him up with a gift basket from Cornzapoppin! SO THERE!

mmm, munchies…

Hey Gang, We know we’re not the only ones who dig on snack-time, so Q and I wanted to give all our friends a little heads up…

When you’re shopping at Cornzapoppin and you’ve got your basket full of gourmet popcorn goodness, remember to enter the following discount code in the check-out stage:

ENT4US

That’s gonna give you a 15% discount on the entire order!

From your friends, Q ‘n’ Na.

who watches the watchmen…

WE DO! For those of you living under a rock, this is an entertainment review show and this comic book movie was ENTERTAINING! That’s right, Q and I reviewed the superhero action flick Watchmen this week, though we could have probably gone on about it for another hour… Our guest this evening, Shady, liked it every bit as much as we did. If you haven’t seen it yet, we recommend you do. If you have seen it, go see it again! That’s the only way Hollywood will allow this kind of movie (ie: better than the insipid bubblegum stuff that is constantly green lighted) to be made again.

We also opine on the DVD release, Milk. This is a seriously well written screen play and the acting was superb. We agree with the Academy on this one. It’s truly deserving of all the accolades it has received. Put this one high on your queue and let us know what you think.

If you missed the live broadcast, never fear. You can listen to the show (embedded at the top of this post) whenever you like…

Hey. Now that we’re such close friends, do us a favor. Head over to the iTunes store, search for our podcast (Entertainment for the Rest of Us), write us a review and give us a rating. We’d really appreciate it!

‘Til next we meet…
