guest-a-thon…

If you missed it, we had a party at EftRoU tonight! Bizarre Magician, Brian Brushwood joined us and talked a little about what the world looks like from his seat on the bus. We ate a little fire, and tried a little telepathy. Our photo expert and resident female opinion, TQ was in the house tonight as well as everyone’s favorite biker/artist/game inventor, Shady. A good time was had by all. Did I mention that Brushwood bought along a flock of his own followers for support on the Ustream? I don’t think I did…

As always, if you missed it, we’re here for ya. See ya next week!!

a joke…

Q ‘n’ Na walk into a bar, but the bar is Castlerockradio.com…

The bartender, who is their producer MT, asks, “Why the long faces?”

Q sighs, looks down at his feet and says, “We got nothin’ but a geeky DVD, a Tom Hanks flick and a New Jersey diner that spawned a million paper towel commercials.”

“It’s hard to talk entertainment when there’s no exciting entertainment to talk about,” says Na, staring blankly off into the distance.

The door swings open wildly… it’s Shady. “I know what’ll cheer you guys up!” he says as he slams three stiff drinks down on the table. “Let’s disect the new Green Day album!”

Smiles creep over Q ‘n’ Na’s faces. They nod, MT fires up the intro music, and history is made: EftRoU broadcast #16.

we boldly went…

I’m just going to say it… Tonight’s show was Trek-tastic! We had Sean Rima from the Big Fat Radio Show. We had Lorin Ricker from Get Your Life Back. Our Photo Expert was in the house.  Q was on the phone from parts unknown, and Na was valiantly attempting to hold the reigns and keep the whole thing from spiraling OUT OF CONTROL!!

There was Trek talk, my friends. Oh, yes. We talked some Trek.

It sounds cliché to say “you just had to be there”. Especially when (thanks to modern technology) you can be!

See ya next week. Same Trek time. Same Trek channel. Admittedly, there will be far less Trek-talk, however.
