Review of Adele’s 21

Adele 21 CD

Columbia - Adele21

The British singer Adele just released her 2nd cd and the heartbreaking sadness attacks your ears.  If you’ve been through any relationship problems it’s hard not to have some empathy for  her.  Her voice is amazing and makes you want to help her through her pain.  I love the dark tones of true emotion and it pierced my soul.  This album should set her apart from the rest of the British “Blue eyed Soul” female singers.
According to the Official Charts Company, Adele is the first living artist to achieve the feat of two top five hits in both the UK Singles Chart and the UK Album Chart simultaneously since The Beatles.

21 is a mood album to put on after a heartbreak or on a rainy day and it will feel as good as being around your best friend.   I would strongly suggest adding this CD to your collection and immersing yourself in one of the best new voices this generation has to offer. In this world of half naked bubblegum pop stars, Adele shows that talent and substance will prevail in the long run.
Album highlights: Turning Tables, Set Fire To The Rain, Someone Like You, and The Cure’s Lovesong.

I give this CD 8 out of 10 stars.

Peace out Allen!
