Bowling, Sabotage and True Love…

The biggest Big Brother Showmance is about to get split up!

Rachel and Brendan are about the get split up while they are in the middle of a budding Show-Mance.

You’ll find it all on the latest episode of the CBS summer hit, Big Brother!! Chris and I are die hard fans of this show and love the psychologcial element of being locked up in a house with weird people and nothing to do but fight, start up a show-mance or eat. Unless you’re on slop, then you don’t eat… you just try to survive to the next food competition.

On to the drama, more specifically the drama that is Rachel and Brendan. Am I the only one a little skeptical of their “show-mance?” Rachel wears the pants and Brendan turns into a whiney 4-year-old when they’re together… not very befitting a somewhat handsome grown man.

With the two of them on the block together this week, you know there’s some tears goin’ down in the Big Brother House! Rachel crying over their love and impending separation… Rachel crying over how much she’s fighting to stay in the game, Rachel crying over how wimpy Brendan is in the challenges. Ok, so it’s just Rachel’s tears but they are pretty entertaining.

Rachel and Brendan stayed up all night before the POV competition to practice the Big Brother bowling game. Jeff and Jordan, the love birds from last season, visited the house to host the game while Rachel and Brendan couldn’t pull out a win and they both cried some more.

What about the Sabotage business? I thought Big Brother was trying a Mole-esque move by starting the role of the “Saboteur” but really it’s just a lame move to try and spice up the game. Ragan, the latest Saboteur, decided to try and turn Rachel and Brendon against each other. Instead of letting him employ his own tactics to acheive the goal, Big Brother broadcast the Saboteur message to the entire house accusing Brendon of throwing challenges to further his game. Lame!!! Lame!!! SOOO LAME! Big Brother, I am very disappointed.

Tune in tonite, Thursday August 12th to see which of the two lover birds go home in the Eviction. A new HOH competition will happen and Julie Chen will host it all :) Bowling, Sabotage and True Love… all in a days work at Big Brother.

Rachael West and Reality Bytes, out.

Bacon Cakes and Bacon Steaks Reign Supreme…

Tom Pizzica from The Next Food Network Star Is in the Finale

Tom Slides into the Finale with Big Bacon Risk

Or so it seems, on the latest episode of The Next Food Network Star airing on the Food Network, of course. Chris and I love this show… lots of drama, seemingly delicious food and lots of predictions as to whether we’re really ever see these people on the network again. The latest episode showcased one contestant’s creativity with one of my least favorite foods but one of Chris’s favorite culinary delights: BACON.

The final four competed in a mock Iron Chef standoff with another contestant and Tom pulled out the big guns. He chose to make a crab cake styled BACON Cake, followed by a enormous BACON steak and finished up BACON stuffed french toast drowned in clam sauce…. WHAT the…..?!?!?!

Tom wound up reigning supreme and staying in the competition. Mostly because his opponent, Aria, botched the challenge and put a sloppy home-style meal in front of the panel… with a side of bacon. LOL

This show is fun to watch and the finale should be interesting. I’m predicting Aarti wins with her Indian cuisine while Chris is backing Herb and his healthy Latin cooking. Who will win? Watch the Food Network this Sunday at 7PM MDT and see. :)

Rachael West and Reality Bytes… out.

thank you babble room…

(Good God, ya’ll)
What is it good for?

Well, it makes for a fine EftRoU, that’s for certain. This week we discussed The Marriage Ref and Green Zone, we were joined by our Reality Guru, introduced a new chunk of the show, pimped a new show on called Let’s Talk Dollars with Sense and wrapped up with a super quick mention of Na’s new RC Crawler hobby and a couple guys puttin it down for charity.

This post is LINK-TASTIC!

See ya next week. If you missed the show, here it is, nicely packaged, just for you.

put it down, seriously…

Happy Thursday all! (admittedly it’s friday as i write this)

Tonight was a Benadryl-induced blur, but I think we had some fun… Rachael West was in studio talking about So You Think You Can Dance with Q as I interjected stuff that didn’t help at all…  We tried a new segment called Convince Me. Let us know if you can think of a better name… We’re not convinced this one is right for us.  We raved about a local pizza joint called Granelli’s, and out Feature Flick this week was The Taking of Pelham 123.

By the way, this was our 20th show and we let it go by with little pomp or circumstance, cause that’s the kind of low-key, down to Earth guys we are. Yeah. In truth, we just didn’t realize it… Try to enjoy it, in spite of the lack of ceremony, ok?

it’s thursday night… uh, again…

Laadieeeees aaannnd Geentlemennnnn!!!!

Another week has come and gone and if you don’t know by now, that means we’ve released a new episode of Entertainment for the Rest of Us on the unsuspecting masses. If you missed it though, you aren’t completely out of luck. Thanks to the wonders of modern technology, we are able to provide something called an “emm pee three”!! All this crazy “tech” stuff leaves my head spinning, but I’m told that if you “click” the following “link”, a gremlin in your “Pee Cee” will talk to a gremlin in a “server” via the “web” and poof! You’ll be able to hear our show at your leisure and in the comfort of your own home.

I crack me up sometimes…
